Preston Wood in front of Action Versus Reaction

There was a chic crowd at Milk Studios last night reviewing the Shipley & Halmos Spring 2010 collection, VERSUS – through a light installation. There were screens on all four walls of the studio – displaying models in motion showcasing the collection. Live samples were also on display on a couple of rolling racks for us to view, touch and feel.

Graphic Versus Undefined

The boys delivered a wearable collection with a sweet edge to it; a tailed shirt-dress and shifts, a blue-sky silk tank dress that we loved. A beige buttery leather jacket with a flowy asymmetrical front and tailored back and few fun graphic pieces. Outerwear included a perfect black parka. Menswear favorites: black blazers and soft tail shirts.

We walked out of Milk Studios, after viewing and mingling, and walked around the Meat Packing district (to kill time before the after party) – we were in a serene state of mind, an energy that we adopted from the chic fully-executed presentation by Shipley & Halmos.
