The Matriarch
Christian Siriano, a name to recognize, has established an empire in the fashion industry through his recent collections. With his appearance on Season Four of Project Runway, Siriano proved himself a master in the art of interpretation and design. His work has been shown on individuals from Victoria Beckham to Lady Gaga. And his Spring/Summer 2010 collection will prove he’s not leaving the spotlight anytime soon.

The Madame: A woman of integrity, true decorum, and exquisite taste opens the show. She breezes above the crowd with the large brim of her over-sized hat. A shadow is cast upon her brow, instinctively suggesting her intentions to steal front row glances. She exits gracefully, as a secret smirk pulls from the corners of her mouth, understanding her work here had been finished.

The Vixen: As smooth as molasses folds, so enters the heeled cat of the evening. Born with natural seduction and intuition, she rips the runway with intentional vengeance. The tap-tap of her platforms seems to override the deep bass of the music, as her stride is heavy and laden with power. The crowd seems to lean back in her presence, as if it suspects her ability to pounce at any moment.
The Bride: April showers can bring spring flowers. As a rose blooms from the season, so a gown can blossom in this collection. Enter the modern wedding. Tulle replaces the traditional silk overlay of the 21st Century bride in this look. The finesse of her stride would place any man on his knee, yet she chooses to entice the entire audience with the adornment and movement of her train.
These will be the matrons that ornament the streets come Spring/Summer 2010.
Which one are you?
