Vintage Worthy
Do you love vintage for everything that it has to offer, from inspiring ideas for dress to the historical element that it adds to your wardrobe? Well I do! I absolutely love finding an original piece that is likely the last of its kind that can be mine to stare at adoringly, wear to the perfect event, and pass on to my daughter someday. With this love comes a slight problem, however…I hate to pilfer through racks of clothes to find pieces that are of the utmost vintage quality and best for me. And I get lost finding these places in foreign cities. I spend half my day driving around in circles!
If you’re like me, I have found the perfect solution for you. Estilo Boutique, in Scottsdale, AZ at the Waterfront, has a special vintage section that contains carefully picked pieces from the past. Luckily, I was able to meet Misty Guerriero, the proprietor of the Vintage Collection, during my visit to the store. She told me how she ended up housing her beautiful items here. She began collecting about four years ago in Paris and London, originally for herself. Often, she would be stopped on the street and complimented on her funky style of dress and before she knew it, she was selling pieces out of her closet. When a friend approached her to help out with her new store, the idea sparked of including a vintage section. A great concept indeed.
This beautiful boutique offers both new and old, which all of us fashion lovers know is the best way to roll. Now you can walk out with the newest Alice+Olivia black dress and the perfect vintage snake skin belt to go with it–all in one stop! The best part is, if you get a chance to vintage shop when Misty is in the store, she can tell you all about the history of each piece, which makes it that much more special to add to your collection…Now that is not something you will get when rifling through a large rack of clothes at some vintage shop in an unknown city.

I have shopped at Estilo Vintage and it is as you describe: a really great way to buy vintage that is clean and classy. To dress with some history and depth often requires you to mull through mothball dusty 2nd hand stores and who has time for that once out of college? So glad this is so easily accessible in the beautiful Scottsdale waterfront shops!
This is the best vintage place ever!!! I love vintage but I am not that good putting things together, Misty is the master of vintage she can tell you how to mix vintage con modern or what really works on you. she will make you look fabulous. Estilo boutique is one of my favorite boutiques pretty much all my wardrobe is from Estilo, best combo ever fashion clothes + vintage.
This is definitely the perfect combination between the classic looks from the present and past. I absolutely LOVE what Misty has done with her Vintage collections! This girl knows her vintage. She has a talent for finding that great piece and knowing how to bring an outfit together for the person she is dressing. She is so thoughtful in the way she finds things for people. She cares so much for her vintage she likes to share it with others. Its all about making people happy when it comes to Misty.
