Kisan Turns Me On
Being a sucker for a strongly executed concept created with impeccable taste–whether it’s Daphne Guinness’ wardrobe, my cousin’s home, or a certain boutique–I cherish seeing a cohesive idea come to life and/or keep its consistency. When I find a boutique that has a strong flair throughout while offering faultlessly well-chosen items, I simply get turned on and don’t want to leave. That is, I won’t go until I’ve been really bad and chosen a few objects to take home. Being an organizing freak (on a Monica in Friends kind of a level), it’s a celebration to see a strongly organized concept. Kisan is one of those divine concept boutiques. Its existence is to be adored and supported. Everything from a house accessory, to a Sonia Rykiel wallet, to a baby’s T-shirt, to the music played in the store, Kisan has a consistent flair that you’ve got to explore and adore.
