Michael Kors Spring 2010

As we anticipate spring, I yearn for lightweight cashmere. My favorite: Michael Kors mint crinkle oversized cardigan, paired with flat Oxfords. As it came down the runway during Spring 2010 Fashion Week, I gasped. There’s something so luxuriously simple about wearing an oversized cardi as a piece unto itself. The Spring Collection gave me the Robert Palmer feeling – clean, assertive, pop-like with lots of whites. Michael’s word: “Urban renewal. Sleek architectural shapes. The counterbalance of crisp and soft. Slashed openings and translucency reveal the body…” Jersey is another delicious fabrication to love, especially the white asymmetrical draped jersey dress. Yum. Can we get to May please?
