When I reach for my Blackberry in the morning, I want to see my personal and work related emails and to be clear of all promotional emails (they exhaust me). That said, I just signed up for a couple of discount online shopping sites today. I really hesitated since I had just unsubscribed from a bunch of promotional emails and my Blackberry had a free flowing feel to it. Substituting the online site messages for other promotional emails has made my life better.
