It’s post-Thanksgiving and we’re still in Fall bloom – colors and temperature. It’s incredible to get a clear sky and sun every day, especially after living in the Northwest for so long where the sky is gray for nine months of the year. I’m celebrating this bright change, while getting mentally prepared for the East Coast winter.

I’ve been craving wearing this red Gucci coat from the Fall ‘08 runway – so I took it for a walk in Central Park (after we got back home from beautiful Connecticut where we had a wonderful family Thanksgiving). I think the coat is très army-esque with a royal Russian twist. I’m also including the runway image from Style.com  – it came down the runway in a very folklore hippy-chic mood. I love this coat – I think it’s a timeless classic piece.
