Shining Plaza

In more days than not out of the year, there’s a birth of a new business in New York City – a new restaurant or a new collection being launched. Last night we were introduced to J.Estina – a Korean collection of jewelry and accessories. Costume jewelry, fine jewels – accessories including clutches, totes and very shiny tiaras. The collection’s theme is very tiara. Who doesn’t need a tiara on a good (or bad) day?

J.Estina at The Shops at The Plaza Grand Opening and Collection Launch was hosted by Mary Alice Stephenson. Tunes were spun by D.J May Kwok. And attendees included the fabulous Sex And The City designer Patricia Field. Well, it was a bit of a Sex And The City event, with all that bling and champagne and all. Or at least a PG version of SATC: Tiaras And The Plaza.

PS – I totally look like a country bumpkin in my photo, but I swear that pea coat is my new Céline item… Just look a bit like a tired mom, wah wah… Must get a tiara ASAP!
